Better Onboarding Blink and Briarfall
Account onboarding is clearer, Blink gains vertical movement, hotbars survive travel, and Briarfall has a focused new story route.
Accounts and Onboarding
- Added clear Terms of Service and Privacy Policy consent during account creation and guest play.
- Moved account creation and protection into a dedicated account service with browser based signup and verification.
- Redesigned login, character creation, and character selection with larger text, clearer actions, and improved guest onboarding.
- Fixed guest creation in browser builds and improved email messages for new and protected accounts.
Interface Reliability
- Logout now clears gameplay panels and cached character information before returning to account screens.
- Hotbars and skill information now survive valid portal and respawn transitions while still clearing on logout.
- Replaced unsupported browser glyphs with consistent bundled artwork and text.
Movement
- Blink can now travel upward or downward toward nearby platforms while casts without vertical input remain horizontal.
- Removed double jump so movement follows the current class and skill design.
Briarfall Story
- Reworked the region route through Mossy Downs, Briarwatch, Briarfall Road, and Lanternfen.
- Focused the main story on Mara, Thornlings, Briar Wolves, the Waking Briar, and the search for Nela.
- Gathering quests now count matching items already held and consume the required items safely during turn in.
